Tao Chen

Dr. Tao Chen currently serves as the Associate Professor and Master Supervisor at College of Earth Science and Engineering, Shandong University of science and Techonology. In 2017, he earned his Ph.D. from the RWTH Aachen University. His research interests include Fracture medium seepage model, geothermal resource development and utilization, earthquake underground fluid. He has served as the director of the National Natural Science Foundation Youth Project, the Shandong Natural Science Foundation Doctoral Project, and China Coal Industry Association Guidance Plan Project. He has published papers in Advances in Water Resources and Tectonophysics. He has authored four books, such as Upscaling Permeability for Fractured Porous Rocks and Modeling Anisotropic Flow and Heat Transport, E.ON Energy Research Center, RWTH Aachen University, ISBN: 978-3-942789-45-5 and Terrestrial Environmental Sciences. Springer, Cham, ISBN: 978-3-319-68224-2. Additionally, he serves as an academic editor of Geofluids, and a reviewer of Transport in Porous Media and other journal.
